Nolan Martin of Fort Carson Golf Club fired a first-round 65, then held on with a second-round 74 for a 139 and a one-stroke victory in the CGA Western Chapter Championship at Yampa Valley Golf Club. Nathan Winn fired back-to-back 70’s on his home course to take second at 140. Just behind Winn was Michael Glaesel of Indian Tree Golf Course who came in at 141. John Hulwick of Pinehurst Country Club took fourth in a playoff over Erik Billinger of Sunset Golf Course, as both players had finished the championship at 142.
