The team of Joe Young and Owen Ellis (pictured) from Flatirons Golf Course teamed up to take the CGA Four-Ball title at Sterling Country Club. Ellis and Young fired a remarkable 60 in the second round to force a playoff at 129 with Louie Lee and Mark Franz of Highlands Ranch Golf Club. Ellis made par on the first playoff hole to take the title with Young. Rick Sanger and Roger Lambrecht, playing on their home course, took third at 130, one stroke ahead of Shane Houska and Scott Van Hoffwegen who finished fourth. Dean Clapp and Billy Post of Meadow Hills Golf Course took fifth at 132.
In the Senior Division, Sean Forey and Scott Radcliffe of Bear Creek Golf Club finished in a three way tie with Larry Netherton and Kelly Crone of Highlands Ranch Golf Club and Roger Gunderson and Charlie Post of Heritage Eagle Bend at 131. Radcliffe made birdie on the first playoff hole to take the title with Forey. The other two teams finished tied for second place. Three teams tied for fourth at 134.
