Boulder – Meadow Hills GCdefended its title by shooting a combined score of 280 to earn a seven-stroke victory in the CGA Club Team Championship held at Flatirons Golf Course in Boulder. The two-day tournament was scored in a college format in which the team score each day was the total of the best two scores of the three team members. Meadow Hills earned it’s victory with solid contributions from all three members including newcomer Andy Dannewitz (71-70 -141), and returning teammates Dean Clapp (75-67 – 142) and Brian Richmeier (72-71-143). Indian Tree GC finished in second at 287 lead by Michael Glaesel (71-73 – 143) and Joe Wilson (71-73 -144). Bill Fowler (72-72 -144) and CGA Senior Match Play champion Scott Radcliffe (73-71-144) accounted for all the scoring for Rolling Hills CC who finished in third place at 288. Rick DeWitt earned low individual medallist honors shooting 70-69 -139 to pull West Woods GC into a fourth place tie with Denver CC at 289.
