CU Buffalo teammates and brothers Jim and Pat Grady teamed up to win the CGA Two-Man Team championship at the challenging and scenic Lakota Canyon Ranch & Golf Club. Pat, who won the 2006 CGA Stroke Play championships, and Jim combined for a strong 64 on the first day, and finished with a 71 for a 135 total and a three-stroke victory. 2004 champion Henry Bissell and James Heath finished in a three-way tie for second at 138 with last year’s champion Ryan Anderson and new partner Riley Andrews of CU, and the 2005 winning team of fellow CU teammates Derek Tolan and Michael Baird. Adam Joiner and Teddy Karlinski finished fourth at 140.
In the Senior Division, 2005 CGA Senior Match Play Champion Kelly Crone teamed up with Larry Netherton for a 138 total to win by five strokes. Doug Jones and Frank Wilkinson finished second at 142, one stroke ahead of Chuck Fisher and Sean Forey.
