Hadley Ashton of Erie continues to perform among the best of the best at the IMG Academy Junior World Championships in the San Diego area.
The 10-year-old shot a 3-over-par 75 on Wednesday at the Sycuan Resort and stands in fourth place out of 83 players in the girls 9-10 division.
Ashton (left), who has won every Junior Golf Alliance of Colorado 11-13 tournament in which she’s competed this year, made three birdies, four bogeys and a double bogey in round 2, leaving her at 1-over-par 145 overall.
She trails co-leaders Arianna Lau of Hong Kong and Gianna Clemente of Warren, Ohio by four strokes heading into Thursday’s final round of the 9-10 competition.
